BMW 3 Series sedan launch successful in India

first_imgThe BMW 3 Series officially launched in the last week of July in India by Cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar has received a tremendous response. BMW has reportedly revealed that the campaign has been so successful that the company received more than 500 booking orders for the new 3 Series sedan even before it was launched on July 27.The luxury car maker company launched an Indiacentric advertisement campaign through TV, newspapers and hoardings. 3 Series first generation was launched in 1975 and since then five generations of the 3er have evolved. This is the sixth edition and its campaign has been the handiwork of Liquid Campaign’s India office. Ever since BMW began its operations in India five years ago, this is the first Indian ad campaign to introduce a car in the country in a novel way.The TV Commercial is based on history and evolution of the new BMW 3 Series the whole concept was reportedly produced by Contra and Weareflink in Germany.The all-new BMW 3 series sedan in petrol and diesel variants are priced between Rs 28.90 lakh and Rs 37.90 lakh (All India ex-showroom). The new 3 Series is reportedly available in two exclusive design schemes- Sport Line and Luxury Line.Stating that BMW cars have been one of his passions from early days, Tendulkar said, “I drove this car this month in London. It felt incredible.””To me above all being a car enthusiast, safety is also equally important. I am really impressed. It is absolutely stunning and the interiors are unbelievable. It has got a lot of space. Compared to the earlier ones, this is far more spacious,” Tendulkar added.During the launch, BMW Group India president Andreas Schaaf said, “The all-new BMW 3 Series is a vehicle that has an unbeatable profile and is born from pioneering technology, a beautiful design and a lot of passion.”With Agency inputsadvertisementlast_img
