The blaze was started by an illegal campfire and had forced about 400 people to flee while destroying one vacation home and at least 23 other structures, including a chapel, a lodge and several cabins. By The Associated Press FAWNSKIN – A wildfire that scorched more than 14,000 acres in the San Bernardino National Forest was fully contained Thursday, the U.S. Forest Service said. Several days of cool weather helped firefighters surround the six-day fire.
