first_imgA Postdoctoral position is available at the Johns HopkinsUniversity School of Medicine Department of Urology in thelaboratory of Dr. Woonyoung Choi, Ph.D. The Department of Urologyis one of the world’s leading academic urologic research centerswith a long track record of high impact research.The candidate will conduct Department of Defense (DoD) fundedtranslational research on biomarkers for bladder cancer molecularsubtypes. We have made an important contribution to identificationand characterization of molecular subtypes of bladder cancer. Wecontinue working along these lines with increased emphasis on tumorimmunity and drug sensitivity. The project covers multipledisciplines including genomics, molecular biology andimmunology.The successful candidate will have: Defended a PhD in molecular biology, immunology or a relevantdiscipline.Excellent organizational and communications skills.Bioinformatic skill set is a plus The position will involve collaboration with bioinformaticians,physicians, basic scientists, and will integrate clinical,biomarker, and outcomes data.
